A sneak peak of the upcoming SZI database and its new insights into the onset of new subduction zones on Earth during the last 100 My has been given on a scientific poster at the Ada Lovelace Workshop on modelling lithosphere and mantle dynamics in Siena, Italy.
The poster highlighted all included SZI events and was presented by the project members Valentina Magni, Grace Shephard, Ági Király, Elvira Mulyukova and Fabio Crameri, who were all present at this beautiful location on top of one of the many Tuscany hills.
